Sony Recalls 500K VAIO Laptops Due to Overheating
Sony announced another laptop recall. Sony announced 2 days ago that they are issuing recall orders for some of their trendy VAIO laptops. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) tasked Sony to immediately issue the said recall order after the safety agency received reports of recent-model VAIO laptops getting overheated. Warning: make sure when you download the BIOS update that you are plugged-in to a power socket because if in worst scenario, your laptop runs out of power in the middle of the BIOS upgrade, you will destroy your laptop. They also figured out in another recall incident over Sony laptop batteries Overheating that were also used by other brands like Dell, Acer, and Apple.
